This practical-theoretical workshop is part of MID_E Studio 012, a programme of the 10th MID_E, the international contemporary design and art fair.
Digital communication provides artists and designers with a means to showcase and disseminate their work that completes the traditional role of galleries and museums. It has generated art dissemination channels, along with new work-audience relationship and production models that point to commercial, communicative and creative paths based on flexibility, immediacy and interactivity. These very capacities and their unstoppable expansion have made the online world a medium that is as useful as erratic if one is unaware of its main codes and tools.
Inmaculada Urrea, an expert in Brand Meaning and digital contents, is running this workshop which will use two fundamental areas, brand identity and social networks, to develop key points for effective online communication applicable to different creative and artistic projects: visual and plastic arts, fashion, and dramatic arts.

INMACULADA URREA

This workshop follows on from previous artistic educational workshops that  Colectivo YOX (enlace a www.colectivoyox.com) has been organising since 2003. It is the first of a series that, based on the general concept of digital communication-contemporary design, offers professionals linked to this field perspectives that help to expand knowledge and the debate on its growing influence in art today.
